Your turrets fire on their own — you never aim. Every decision is a menu decision: which card to take on level-up, which turret to add, and when to bank your run. Watch the swarm, read the board, choose well.
Sprint scales fast and runs about five minutes. Marathon is a slower burn closer to fifteen. Both are endless — they end when the planet does.
After a boss you're offered a choice: bank what you've earned, or push deeper and compound an at-risk multiplier. Push and die, and you forfeit the pot but keep your base salvage. It's the most important decision in the game.

No. Swarmfall runs entirely offline, permanently. There is nothing to sign in to and nothing to download after install.
The sound toggle is in the run HUD. Your choice is remembered between sessions.
Swarmfall is hard on purpose. Salvage from a failed run is permanent, and meta upgrades between runs are how you get further — a short run is still progress.
